“In the year 2020, inthe midst of the pandemic, I experienced autoimmune-like symptoms relating to my nervous system, as well as disruptions in my hormones. After visiting multiple professionals who left me with puzzling conclusions, I turned to eastern medicine to heal from the inside out.

In the years thatfollowed, I delved into the wisdom of Ayurveda and the essence of Traditional Chinese Medicine. I came to understand that many disruptions within us stem from how we engage our senses. These senses form the bridge between our inner world and the external environment.

Did you know that perfumes can often be formulated with hormone-disrupting, allergy-inducing chemicals which needn’t necessarily be disclosed? Over 3000 chemicals can in fact, be hidden under the term ‘fragrance’ or ‘parfum’. This became the very inspiration behind Shifa Fragrances; a line of artisanal fragrances that uses EWG-compliant ingredients without compromising on the fragrances or their sillage.

Unsurprisingly, it took over a year to craft and perfect our perfumes. We’ve left no stone unturned in ensuring that our perfumes are as safe as they are sublime.
